Waterford Airport cycles their way to success for Cancer Research

Staff at Waterford Airport get on board with the Sean Kelly Cycling Tour to raise funds for Cancer Research.

The team members from the Airport Darren Burke, James O’Sullivan, Stuart Timpson, Gavin Ahern and team captain Emma Hannon are looking forward to the event.

Commenting on the upcoming challenge Emma said, “After hearing about the Sean Kelly Tour, we decided to get together and show our support for Cancer Research. Word of the cycle and the support and enthusiasm around the Airport is great, we decided to do the 50km challenge this year and we are all after training hard and we know it’s going to be a challenge.

On behalf of the team I would like to thank Waterford Airport for sponsoring our new cycling jerseys and Excel Promotions for making them look so great.”

The Sean Kelly Cycling Tour takes place on Sunday, August 30th and is part of a bigger overall objective to make County Waterford an extremely cycle-friendly county.
